The Bus Driver drives a bus to transport passengers over specified routes to local or distant points according to time schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)
Complies with local traffic regulations and reports delays or accidents.
Inspects bus and checks gas, oil, and water before departure.
Service vehicle batteries as required.
Perform minor repairs such as tightening mirrors and screws, changing vehicle light bulbs.
Operate car/bus wash as required.
Operate generator as required and jump start busses as required.
May drive diesel or gas powered vehicle to transport passengers over established post and city routes.
Operate drivers training bus and train other personnel in bus operations.
Complies with all installation and State rules and regulations and ensures that seatbelts are worn when operating any vehicle. Attend all Safety Meetings and/or Training classes as scheduled.
Clean up oil spills and keep vehicle parking area clean of debris and oil.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
High School graduate or equivalent.
A minimum of four years' driving experience is a plus.
Possess and continuously maintain a current state of Oklahoma commercial driver's license (CDL), Class A or B is required, "P" passenger endorsement required within 90 days of hire.

Work Environment:

The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
