Maintenance Operation Supervisor

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)
  • Monitors and reviews high priority work orders, Not Mission Capable Supply (NMCS) and Non Mission Capable Maintenance (NMCM) time and work orders over 30 days old to formulate appropriate recommended action and delays including repair parts supply status.
  • Collaborates with Maintenance Manager on corrective action required.
  • Maintains close contact with support unit maintenance personnel.
  • Monitors various systems files and reports to analyze causes of delays or stoppages.
  • Attends maintenance meetings
  • Provides status of unit job orders to unit maintenance officers and advises unit commanders on direct support/general support procedures.
  • Reviews work in progress and adjusts plans, assignments, and methods as necessary to accomplish the work as effectively and economically as feasible.
  • Participates in Process Improvement Team activities and provides
  • additional oversight on specific maintenance efforts
  • Assists Maintenance Manager with developing briefings, presentations, and
  • reports as required
  • Assists Maintenance Manager with conducting job interviews and personnel
  • counseling
  • Serves as Warranty Coordinator
  • Serves as Alternate Key Control Custodian
  • Acts as Maintenance Manager during his absence
Non-Essential Duties:

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Associates degree with emphasis in Business Administration desirable.
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience of working knowledge of direct support/general support maintenance procedures and repair parts supply procedures.
  • Must possess and continuously maintain a current driver s license.
  • Must be able to obtain a SECRET clearance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Must have extensive knowledge of Excel spreadsheet program.
  • Formal civilian or military training in component rebuild is a plus.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
