### Summary

This position is assigned to Child Development Services.

### Responsibilities
Responsible for driving CYS owned or assigned busses used for transporting children and youth to and from school, to other CYS and Garrison facilities, and on field trips.
Ensures the safety and well-being of children, youth and adults being transported to and from the program and on field trips.
Maintains control of and accountability for children and youth at all times. Follows safe loading and unloading procedures.
Develops and follows efficient, consistent and safe bus routes for routine trips (e.g., to and from school) to minimize transportation time.
As appropriate for the age of the children, ensures all children are in appropriate child restraints.

Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position
A one year probationary period may be required

Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty
Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-15.m., and a Child Care Tier 1 background investigation is required.
Must have current health assessment which documents good mental and physical health, freedom from communicable disease, and immunizations IAW current Army and DoD policy including annual influenza vaccinations.
Schedule includes irregular hours, evenings, and/or weekends.
Duties involve working both indoors and outdoors under different types of weather conditions.
This position requires mandatory drug testing.
Satisfactory performance and successful completion of Annual training requirements within prescribed time frame are required.
This position requires mandated reporting of all suspected incidents of child abuse/neglect.
The physical ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs, walk, bend, stoop, and stand on a routine basis is required.
The appropriate driver?s license must be valid and current.
### Qualifications
1. High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
2. Ability to communicate in English at a level to assure the duties described can be accomplished in a safe and satisfactory manner.
3. Experience in accomplishing the types of duties described in this job.
4. Requires a commercial drivers license (CDL) with no restrictions to operate a passenger vehicle that carries 16 or more.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
