Summary:
The Combat Vehicle Inspector will provide complete initial, on line and final inspections of military transport wheeled ? automotive vehicles and non-military transport wheeled ? automotive vehicles.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for entire vehicle inspection to include the prime mover, power train, transmission, hydraulic, electrical and mechanical subsystems.
Performs vehicle classifications and maintains reference library.
Responsible for entire vehicle inspection using precision measuring instruments, tools, technical manuals and technical bulletins for specifications.
Performs tear down and fault determinations providing data into the system for update of management records.
Repair, rebuild, or overhaul major assemblies of internal combustion vehicles.
Work involves diagnosing the source of trouble and determining the extent of repairs required; replacing worn or broken parts.
Determines and orders repair parts for each work order using correct technical manual.

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
High School graduate or equivalent.
Minimum of three (3) years' experience in the repair of tactical vehicles.
Must possess and maintain a current Oklahoma Driver's License.
Must be able to obtain Secret security clearance.

During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
