Software CM Specialist - Senior/Lead
Summary:
General requirements include Post Production Software Support (PPSS) and Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS) to Fires domain systems Provide System and SW engineering support to PEO, PM and PD that develop C2, Target Acquisition, Fire Detection and Fire Control.
Responsibilities:
Must be able to write Configuration Management (CM) Plans and audit software change procedures, software development, software testing, and software documentation to verify compliance with software CM plans and procedures
Must be capable of participating in design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of software products to ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of the software baseline for each system
Works on code management, audits, baseline identification, and preparation and control of documentation for software projects
Requirements:
Position requires demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making, and excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be a Team player
Be flexible and adaptable
Skillset: ISO Certification, ClearQuest, Sharepoint Development, MS SCCM
1.5 years of experience writing CM plans and auditing SW change procedures, development, testing, and documentation
Other Skills:
Familiar with AMC / CECOM / SEC policies, procedures and workforce
Possess knowledge of and have practical experience developing software for DOD programs subject to the DOD acquisition process
