Operations Specialist - Senior/Lead

Summary:
General requirements include Post Production Software Support (PPSS) and Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS) to Fires domain systems Provide System and SW engineering support to PEO, PM and PD that develop C2, Target Acquisition, Fire Detection and Fire Control.
Responsibilities:
Serves as a technical expert.
Must be capable of conducting analysis and developing solutions in application of IT. Produces and reviews technical documentation reflecting detailed knowledge of specific technical area. Recommends measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of product or service, and suggests changes to increase efficiency.
Leads schedule management and provide responsive support to the PM and Government. Will support the on-site PM with the Task Order level IMS and overall Risk Management on a full time basis.
Creates, issues, coordinates, modifies, updates, and maintains Task Order schedules, Subcontractor Task Orders, Travel Requests, Monthly Status Reports (MSR's), purchase requests, Manpower Reporting (annual basis), and trip reports. Tracks government furnished equipment supplied to subcontractors and vendors ,while maintaining appropriate paperwork. Also collects data for and creates status reports monthly.
Assists the PM in preparing and updating various programmatic resource planning/tracking spreadsheets
Assist other PM's with special requests on an as needed basis
Accountabilities (expectations):
Owns assigned tasks from their initiation to completion/decision point
Communicatess with PM on issues pertinent to management objectives, program decisions, and other program related matters
Builds partnership/relationship with the customer and seek out new opportunities from other contract sources
Meets the team's commitments to the customer
Follows the guidance of the Program Manager
Requirements:
Position requires demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making, and excellent oral and written
MS Office certifications
Program Support & System Design
MS Project
Multi-Tasking Ability
Other Skills:
Certification: Industry certification is desirable.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
