Located in SW OK near the Texas border, Fort Sill adjoins the city of Lawton, OK. The total population of the city and our installation combined is approx. 100,000. The cost of living is reasonable; public bus transportation is available. Fort Sill is within 1 1/2 hours driving distance to Oklahoma City and 3 hours driving time to the Dallas/Fort Worth metro. Commercial flights are available to the commercial airport in Lawton, OK (9 miles from post). Fort Sill enjoys an outstanding cooperative relationship with the City of Lawton. Our beautiful installation is steeped in natural, living history. It is the only active Army Installation on the Southern Plains which was built during the Indian Wars. Fort Sill is a national historic landmark, and our museum is full of early frontier artifacts.
This position is assigned to the NAF Support Division.

Selected candidate will manage all real property sustainment, restoration, modernization, and new construction projects for the Fort Sill Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (DFMWR). Provides overall management of real projects, reviews plans and specifications, and monitors their progress. The employee will prepare studies and analyses to compare various project alternatives and identify options that best meet the needs of the organization. The employee will, in conjunction with DFMWR budget analysts, prepare return on investment (ROI) analyses to validate the financial viability of proposed projects. Employee will serve as DFMWR's single point of contact (POC) for coordination with other agencies such as the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) on all issues regarding DFMWR real property. Includes other job related duties as assigned.
Work experience managing construction projects. Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Applicants who possess the following Highly Preferred Criteria will be rated amongst the highly preferred: Familiar with the organization, mission, policies (Morale, Welfare and Recreation Directorate) and three to five years leading project development, design and execution. Experience in the management of real property, property sustainment, restoration and modernization, and new construction. Experience in developing and preparing project studies and analysis, functional project requirements, and in return on investment (ROI) analyses. Experience in interpreting, selecting, adapting, and applying engineering guidelines, precedents, principles and practices.
_Conditions of Employment:_
1. A one-year probationary period may be required.
2. Meet all qualification/eligibility requirements.
3. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification check.
4. Successfully complete all required background checks.
5. A completed and signed copy DA Form 3433-1 is required prior to entrance on duty.
6. Must be 18 years of age at time of appointment (appr. Entrance on Duty 30 January 2015).

This is a Regular Full-time position (40 hours per work week guaranteed). Selected applicant will be able to utilize MWR facilities such as library, auto crafts, pools, fitness centers, child care facilities etc.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
