The primary responsibility of the Extended Campus Director is to ensure the viability of that location.
To that end, key expectations are student recruitment and enrollment for all modalities of instruction for learning products offered, overseeing the operations of the physical location, and participating in the maintenance of local licensure for the campus.
In this endeavor, the Director will manage local relationships; coordinate and support of regional recruiting and academic organizations; and development and execution of unit plan to support regional and university plans, directives, and regulatory compliance.

In the primary role of overseeing recruitment and enrollment for their location, Directors will:
Collaborate with VP of Business Development, Regional Recruiters/RCs, & Office of Corporate Partnerships on developing strategies to create and market effective enrollment & financial opportunities for the campus Identify and develop relationships with community organizations for recruitment or partnership opportunities Ensure staff are providing a high level of student service for enrollment and retention Operational oversight of the front-line staff, including scheduling, coordinating work, maintaining student records, responding to student complaints, and referring students to appropriate resources/departments/personnel.
Handles difficult phone calls and situations from prospective students, parents, and counselors.
Promotes student retention by demonstrating an understanding of students' areas of interest, college community resources, scholarship opportunities, & difficult financial & personal issues surrounding students' lives.
Coordinates and attends on and off-campus events such as information sessions, college/job fairs, group presentations, and more Drives university strategies at the campus level through coordination and collaboration with national and regional team members Ensures a high level of student engagement is communicated at all stages to improve retention efforts Assists efforts with business and industry, community agencies, community organizations, educational institutions, internal departments, and more to build Webster's visibility and brand awareness Assures that all staff under direct reports have established and communicated accountabilities and performance expectations.
Assures that performance appraisals are conducted on time.
Leads the unit in cooperation with the market area and region to maximize enrollments and control costs in support of University long- and short-term operational and strategic plans Supports and coordinates with centralized functions (Centralized Advising, Centralized Scheduling, Admissions Engagement Center, etc.
) to maintain student service and enhance retention Prepare and submit reports as necessary to carry out functions of extended campuses including those required to stay within federal and state compliance (to include required VA and DoD reporting for applicable students).
Interviews, hires, and orients new faculty and staff of university policy and process Directs operations at the extended unit, including planning and operating within an annual budget Note:
Compensation for Directors is considerate of scope of job, oversight, market and campus size Secondary Duties and Responsibilities Directors may have a role on centralized project teams that focus on moving forward new initiatives or addressing budgets.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
